-Avoid brushing or scrubbing the rug in any way or form. 
-Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using the vacuum beater brush mode.  
-If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain vigorously. 
-Rotate the rug occasionally to equalise its wear.  
-Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.  
-If threads come out, do not pull the yarn; trim them with scissors. 
-Periodic professional cleaning is recommended.
